Linda Carol Aunchman, 61

 

Linda Carol Aunchman 61, formerly of Whitehall, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 after a short yet courageous battle with cancer.

 

 Linda fought this battle the way she lived her life, with dignity and strength.  Her love and concern for others continued to shine during this personal struggle.

 Born Oct. 27, 1946, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Agnes (Villeneuve) Tracy.

 Linda graduated from Whitehall High School and remained in her beloved Whitehall for most of her life before moving to Florida.

 Survivors include the light of her life, her son Terry Aunchman of Tampa, Fla., daughter-in-law Kimberly, and two loving granddaughters, Jilian and Lauryn, whom Linda referred to as her two little angels.

 Linda is also survived by her brothers, Mike Tracy of South Glens Falls, Larry Tracy of Grant, Fla., Keith Tracy of Tucson, Ariz., and Randy Tracy of Killeen, Texas, her sisters Lois Tracy of Poultney, Vt., and Bonnie Salvatore of Whitehall, and former husband Jerry Aunchman of Whitehall.

 Friends and family called Sunday, Feb. 10, at Jillison Funeral Home, 46 Williams St., Whitehall.

 A Christian Memorial Mass was be celebrated Monday, Feb. 11, at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Whitehall, with Rev. Michael Flannery, Pastor, officiating..
