Katherine Weiss, 79

Katherine Weiss, age 79, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008 at Glens Falls Hospital.

Kay was born on June 3, 1929, the daughter of Herman and Paula (Wimmer) Bock.

Kay was the widow of Fred Weiss, who predeceased her in 1990.

Kay was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She enjoyed making crafts for her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Fred, Katherine was also predeceased by a son-in-law, James Keeley, and a brother, Fred Bock. Survivors are three daughters: Fran DeLasho and her husband, James, of Hartsdale, N.Y., and their children, Peter and Elaine; Linda Lukosavich and her husband, Duane, of Cortland, N.Y., and their children, Joseph and Gary, and Sandra Keeley of Granville and her children Wendi, James and Daniel, and also two sisters: Rose Beismer of Bainbridge, N.Y., and Marian Dutcher of Afton, N.Y. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church, East Main St., Granville with the Deacon Arthur Peters officiating. Friends called on  Feb. 12 at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St. Granville.
