Dorothy Baker, 65

Dorothy Baker of West Pawlet passed away on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center with her children by her side.

Dorothy was born on Sept. 25, 1942 in Bennington, Vt., the daughter of the late Cleo and Doris (Sharkey) Webb.

Dorothy was the widow of John “Jack” Baker of West Pawlet.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, her husband Jack, and a brother, Francis Moffitt. Survivors are her four sons: John Baker and his wife, Debbie, of East Dorset, Eric Baker and his wife, Sondra, of Pawlet, Matthew Baker and his wife, Candy, of Granville and Ryan Baker of West Pawlet; a daughter, Teresa Brooks and her husband, David, of East Dorset; two brothers; Pearle Webb of Vermont and Cleo Webb of New York; and two sisters, Patricia Alexandra of Alaska and Phyllis Day of Vermont. In addition, 15 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside burial service will be held on Saturday, April 5,2008 at 11 a.m. at the Mettowee Valley Cemetery in Pawlet, Vt.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St. Granville, N.Y.
