Constance “Connie” L. Landon, age 58

Constance “Connie” L.  Landon, age 58, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at her home following a long illness.

Connie was born on September 2, 1949 in Granville, New York the daughter of Cecil and Josephine (Colburn) Greene.

Connie had been employed at Equinox Terrace and Fort Hudson Nursing Home. Connie enjoyed watching wrestling and playing bingo. But spending time fishing and camping, surrounded by her family and pets was her idea of a perfect day.

In addition to her parents, Connie was predeceased by a brother Cecil Greene Jr. Survivors are her husband of 24 years, Arthur Landon, Jr. of Granville, N.Y., her grandmother, Alice Colburn of Granville, N.Y.,  her children, Lisa Chambers of Pawlet, Vt., Tammy Harrington of Lake Worth, Fla., Harold McKittrick of Granville, Brian McKittrick and his wife Lisa of Salem, N.Y., Teresa Wilkins of  Granville  and Josie Bassler of Granville, N.Y.; three brothers: Jeff Greene and his wife Carol of Salem, N.Y., John Greene of Granville, N.Y., and Albert Greene of Salem, N.Y., and one sister Jackie Carney of Salem, N.Y. In addition she is survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 3 p.m. at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St. Granville, NY. with Reverend James Peterson officiating. 

Friends may call from 1:30 pm until the time of the funeral.
