Boston S. Corbett

Boston Stone Corbett, age 27, of Granville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday,  Oct. 25, 2008 at his family home.

Boston was born on June 12, 1981 in Bennington, Vt., the son of William Louis Corbett, Jr. and Deborah Ann (Stone) Corbett.

Boston graduated from Granville High School. He worked in the broadcasting and media production field. He was employed at Tribune Media in Queensbury, NY. Local people will remember hearing his voice on WVNR radio station based in Poultney, VT where he had worked as a radio announcer. Boston also was a singer and songwriter. He was a kind and caring man, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. His heart of gold was filled with love for his family, and in particular his brother Blessing.

Survivors are his parents, three brothers, Bannon Corbett and his wife Darlene of Delmar, N.Y., Brett Corbett of Delaware, and Blessing Corbett of Granville. Also surviving is a niece, Brianna Corbett and a nephew, Bannon Corbett, Jr.

Friends were invited to call on Tuesday, Oct. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St. ,Granville, NY. The funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Middle Granville, NY
