Patricia M. Speer

P atricia M. Speer, 72 of County Route 9, Whitehall, went into the loving arms of the Lord on Jan. 6, 2009 at the Indian River Nursing Home after a 14-year battle with Alzheimer’s.
She is predeceased by her mother and father, Edna and Peyton Boswell, and her only brother Peyton Boswell III.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Neil Speer of Whitehall, her children Kathy Charpentier of Whitehall, Peggy Gordon of Whitehall, Frank Speer of Germantown, Md., and Jody Speer of Altona, N.Y.; and 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
At Pat’s request there will be no calling hours.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Whitehall United Methodist Church , Box 56 Greenmount Cemetery Lane, Whitehall, NY 12887 or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Jillson Funeral Home. Inc. 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY 12887.
The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at the Indian River Nursing Home.
