Roselin Corey

Roselin Corey passed away unexpectedly at Rutland Regional Medical Center on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009

Roselin was born on Sept. 3, 1947 in Skohegan, Maine, the daughter of John and Emma (Hilton) Taylor.

Roselin was a homemaker. She was a 25 year member of the Modern Woodmen of America, a 25 year member of the Wells Volunteer Fire Department and a 30 year member of the Wells United Methodist Church. She served on the Sunshine Committee for both the Modern Woodmen and the fire department.

Survivors are her husband of 41 years, Edgar Corey; a son Vincent Corey and his wife Angel of Long, S.C.; three daughters, Lisa Dieckert and her husband Edward of Granville, Mary Graves and her husband Andrew of Manchester, Vt., and Tina Haines and her husband Leigh of Whitehall. Also surviving are two brothers, John Taylor and Duane Taylor both of Maine, and five sisters: Judy Doran of South Carolina, Joanna Riggens of Virginia, Laura McDermott of Maine, Laurana Kahurel of Maine and Tonya Taylor of South Carolina, in addition to 13 grandchildren; Scott, Heather, Rosie, Kirby, Ann Marie, Sabrina, Judy, Pvt. Edward, Johnathan, Tiffany, Katheryn, Audrey and Shawn, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Roselin was predeceased by a sister Belinda.

Friends may call on Friday, Feb. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church Street. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Granville Rescue Squad, the Wells Volunteer Fire Department or the Modern Woodmen of America.
