Gitta H. “Judy” Campbell

Gitta H. “Judy” Campbell, formerly of Granville, passed away on February 21, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer at her home in Naples, Florida .

Born on June 28, 1930 in Berlin, Germany, she was the wife of the late Daniel J. Campbell III .

Prior to Judy’s retirement she and her late husband owned and operated DC Realty of Granville for many years.

Judy was a dignified woman who enjoyed reading, traveling and in her later years enjoyed her computer, quiet time and her beautiful flower gardens. Judy also volunteered for many years at the Chamber of Commerce and LUV’S an organization that benefited abused children in Naples, Fla.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Daniel J. Campbell III and life long friend Erika Parker who both died in 1992

Judy is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Williams and her husband David of Comstock, a son, Daniel Campbell and his wife Debra of Granville, and a son, Christopher Campbell of  San Francisco, Calif.; grandchildren Diana Scarlotta (Tony), Daniel Halterman III (Joanne), Amanda Rawson, Barbara Campbell, Kimberly Campbell and DJ Campbell; and three great-grandchildren, A.J. Scarlotta, Tyler Scarlotta, and Jacob Halterman.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice in Judy’s name.
