Isabel Mary (Bella) Roche, 81

Isabel Mary (Bella) Roche, 81, passed away Sept 9, 2009, in Phoenix, Ariz. 

Bella was born Feb. 16, 1928, in Troy to Joseph and Anna (Esposito) Consoli. 

She married Donald A. Roche in February 1947 in Granville, and they shared 59 loving years.  Bella and Don also lived in Buffalo and retired to Seminole, Fla., in 1983. Bella moved to Phoenix after Don’s passing to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Michael Jukich.

Bella was a devoted wife and mother with a passion for gardening, reading and working for the Marine Corps League’s annual Toys for Tots program.

Bella and Don had five children who survive them, Robert (Esther) of Cathlamet, Wash., Kevin (Lorraine) of Palm Harbor, Fla., Anne (Michael) Jukich of Phoenix, Ariz., James (Karen) of East Amherst and Donald of Seminole, Fla.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald (2005), her parents, her sister, Rose Maslack, and a granddaughter, Kira.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 1 p.m. at St. Jermone’s Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd., Largo Fla., with burial at Bay Pines National Cemetary in St. Petersburg, Fla.
