Roblee Percy Waite, age 56

Roblee Percy Waite, age 56, passed away on Sept. 25, 2009, unexpectedly from natural causes at his residence in Pawlet, Vt.Roblee was born on Feb. 3, 1953, in Cambridge, the son of Percy B. and Eleanor (Roblee)  Waite.
Roblee’s true passion was hunting. He was very knowledgeable about firearms and also enjoyed shooting skeet.  Roblee also like to pass the hours reading, particularly history and war books and listening to Johnnie Cash. Roblee had worked at numerous slate quarries throughout the area, and most recently at the Hookery in West Pawlet, Vt.
In addition to his parents, Roblee was also predeceased by an infant daughter, Storm.
Survivors are his daughter, Bridgette Lee Waite of Johnson, Vt.; a sister, Susan Smith and her husband, Norman, of Grand Isle, Vt.; a niece, Beth; a nephew, Sam; and two grandnieces, Kaya and Bella Fysh. Roblee also leaves behind a dear friend, Bruce Martelle.
A  graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Mettowee Valley Cemetery in Pawlet.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville.
