Karl Palmer fell 4-3 in the much anticipated rematch with Wlash from Watervliet. Palmer took several blows to the nose and spent a lot of time that could have been wrestling as blood time. ‘We’re just wrestling here’ is what the Watervliet coach said, but he might as well have been coaching the bad guy from the Karate Kid. The headbutts were not missed by the crowd, they ooooh’ed each time that happened.
So long story short, gotta get going to make the tip off in Granville, Palmer will not be a state champion THIS YEAR.
