Charles E. Foster, 56

C harles E. Foster, 56, passed away from cancer at his home on June 20, 2010, surrounded by his loving and supportive family.
Born on Jan. 13, 1954, in Clemons, he was the son of the late Henry Foster and Frances (Young) Foster.
Chuck was a contractor in the area for many years. He enjoyed boating on the lake, driving fast, loud rock ‘n’ roll, good food and wine and good times with his family and friends. Most of all, vacations with his wife and boys. Chuck and Jenni have been partners for 29 years.
Besides his father, he is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Foster.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hallock Foster, his sons, Steven, 11, and Samuel, 8, his mother, Frances Foster, his brother, Michael Foster, all of Clemons; his sisters, Kathleen Kilduff and her husband, Kevin, of Homosassa, Fla., Joanne Farley and her husband, Scott, of Clemons and Patricia Connors of Malone; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Jillson Funeral Home, Inc., 46 Williams St., Whitehall, on Thursday, June 24, from 4 to 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 25, at 1 p.m. at Mountain Grove Memorial Church in Huletts Landing.
A memorial benefit dinner celebrating Chuck’s life will be held at the Dresden Firehouse, Route 22, Clemons, on Saturday, June 26, from 1 to 5 p.m.
