Rosa Albert has been named the class valedictorian for the Whitehall High School class of 2010.
Albert is the daughter of Rose and Floyd Beadle, and will be attending Siena College to pursue an education in mathematics teaching.
“It was a goal of mine to be at the top of the class and it feels pretty good to accomplish it,” said Albert. “The teachers here have given me really good advice and they have always been there to help.”
Albert said the advice and support she had received from her teachers at Whitehall will help her as she readies for college.
“They help you know what to expect and help you prepare for that next level,” said Albert.
Albert said the best advice that she had to the underclassmen at school would be to “Do you work and do not skip your classes.”
“I am looking forward to getting ready for school and being with my friends,” said Albert about her plans after graduation.
