Walter E. Hyatt Jr., 49

W alter E. Hyatt Jr. 49, of South Carolina, formerly of Granville, died unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010.
Born and raised in Granville, he was the son of the Lorraine F. Hyatt and the late Walter E. Hyatt Sr.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Warren R. Hyatt (Bucky).
Walter enjoyed carpentry and spending time with his sons and family. He also enjoyed race cars and going to the NASCAR races.
Survivors include his mother, Lorraine F. Hyatt; three sons, Jeremy Hyatt, Jonathan Hyatt, and Travis Hyatt; one sister, Linda Kellam and her husband, Alvin, of Georgia; four brothers from Granville, Dean Hyatt and his wife, Maria, Dann Hyatt and his wife, Samantha, Mark Hyatt, Lowell Hyatt and his wife, Lisa, along with several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorials can be made in his memory to the Granville Rescue Squad or American Cancer Society.
