Margaret “Peg” Williams, 77

Margaret “Peg” Williams passed away on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at her home.
Peg was born on Jan. 4, 1933, in Whitehall, the daughter of Anthony and Katherine (Hebert) DeNino.
Peg had been employed for a time by the Granville Central School District as a teaching assistant, study hall monitor and cafeteria aide. She also worked in home health care.
Peg loved spending the summers at her home on Lake St. Catherine. She enjoyed the time with her family immensely. She looked forward to her Friday night “get togethers” with her best friend Pat Doty. Peg was an avid reader and patron of the Pember Library. Her love for the written word led to another passion: fill-in puzzle books. She was a member of the Red Hat Society — Blissville Bonnets Chapter.
Peg was predeceased by her husband, Myron H. Williams Sr., on May 20, 2003.
Survivors are her son Myron Williams Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Coatesville, Pa.; and three daughters, Vicky Jordan and her husband, James, of Poultney, Vt., Monica Williams of Rutland, Vt., and Cindy Greenough and her husband, Gordon, of North Granville. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jamie Jordan and his girlfriend, Kelly Donaldson, Jeff Jordan and his wife, Crystal, Emily Williams, Evan Williams, Torianne Greenough and Breanne Greenough; as well as three great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Taylor and Cole Jordan.
Friends may call on Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville.
Memorial contributions may be made in Peg’s name to the Pember Library, 35 W. Main St. Granville, N.Y. 12832.
