In memory of Rose Minogue

Rose grew up on the south side of Fair Haven, a member of the fine Italian family, the Crucittis. After the war (WWII), she and her husband, Creighton, were very involved in Post 49 American Legion and Auxiliary.

She was quiet and reserved with that beautiful moon-faced smile of a cute little Italian girl.  Such a great reminder to me of my younger days as a student at St. Peter’s School in the Italian sector of Rutland.

She led the very ordinary, fine life of a devout Catholic lady and her later years were devoted to the church.  She will be rewarded for that.

God bless you, Rose Minogue.
