Sports awards, town board meeting

T here will be two thigns going on tonight in the town of Whitehall.

First, the Whitehall Central School Athletic Department will celebrate the accomplishments of the 2010 fall sports season with the fall sports awards in the junior/senior high school auditorium at 6 p.m. Teams that whill be honored will include the junior varsity and varsity football teams, soccer teams and cheerleaders along with the varsity golf and cross-country teams.

At 7 p.m., the town of Whitehall will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Pavilion town center. While the town budget may be a topic of conversation, it is expected that the vote to finalize the budget will not take place until after the meeting.
