Benson hosting two special events

T he community of Benson has not one, but two special events scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 20.

On Saturday, Nov. 20, the Benson First Response will hold their annual Craft Fair at the Benson Village School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A variety of handcrafted and homemade goods will be available for purchase, many of which would make fine gifts for the holiday season.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Benson First Response unit.

Anyone who is interested in reserving a space as a vendor is encouraged to call Collen Hoard at 802-537-3111.

On the same day, the Benson Fundraising Committee is sponsoring a Basket Party to benefit Benson Family Day 2011. Anyone who would like to donate a basket or would like more information can call Gina Cull at 802-537-3521.

Look for more details on both events in next week’s Lakes Region Free Press.
