Village board meeting

The Whitehall village board talked about the following issues at its Nov. 15 meeting:
-The board put on file several applications for the position of deputy village clerk.
-The board set a public hearing for the new cable company contract for their next board meeting at 5:59 p.m.
-Bids are going out to do work on 5,000 feet of water line along Broadway.
-Mayor Putorti turned over his check to the village for removal of the speed bumps on Kirtland Street for about $200.
-Discussed the speed limits on Kirtland and other streets that were set at 20 mph.
