T he Granville area will begin ringing in the holiday season with the lighting of the village Christmas tree Friday, Dec. 3.

The annual celebration of the season will kick off at 6 p.m. in Veterans Park in the village. Santa will be on hand to give out gifts along with returning favorites like the Boy Scouts’ fire ring.
