I t’s that time of year again! The Granville FFA’s third annual Battle of the Bands is approaching! This year’s theme; The Horde Strikes Back! This year’s Battle of the Bands will be held on Saturday, December 4th from 7pm until 10pm in the Granville High School auditorium. Don’t forget to mark this date on your calendar! Tickets are being sold for $8 ahead of time and $10 at the door. Presale tickets can be purchased by the public at Scotties and by students during lunch periods beginning Monday, November 22nd and ending Friday, December 3rd. There will also be custom t-shirts sporting the phrase “Granville FFA’s Battle of the Bands; The Horde Strikes Back!” along with a stunning graphic. This year’s Battle of the Bands holds many new bands and acts, as well as, several returning bands and short performances. Some of the line-up for the night will include performances by Poseidon, All That’s Fallen, Carry the Tradition, a Jersey Shore act, a South Park act, singing and dancing acts, and a special performance by Greenwich’s very own Ag teacher and FFA advisor! All proceeds from the Battle of the Bands will help the Granville FFA chapter improve their farm as well as go toward sending members to various FFA conventions throughout the year.
