S hirley A. Rozell, 81, died suddenly at the Glens Falls Hospital early Sunday morning, Nov. 21, 2010.

Shirley and her family were longtime residents of Granville. Her maternal grandparents were Minnie (Morehouse) and Guy Duel; paternal grandparents were Sarah (Dudding) and John Owens. Her parents were Mildred (Duel) and Allen Owens.

Shirley was born July 11, 1929, graduated from Granville High School, and married Richard H. Rozell on July 27, 1950. They had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

She had four children, Richard Lee Rozell (Dickie), who died March 7, 1972; a daughter, Mary Ann Ross; and two more sons, David Allan Rozell and Michael Todd Rozell;  a wonderful son-in-law, John L. We love you!!!

She was buried on Nov. 26.
