T here will be a place to see some of your favorite coaches and teachers playing basketball for a cause, but it won’t be in the Granville gym.

Coaches Against Cancer are taking their show on the road this year. Granville’s CAC team will be taking the long journey to Fort Ann to compete against that school’s team. The event starts at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20, at Fort Ann High School. A suggested donation of $2 gets you through the door, and a 50/50 raffle will be held.

Come watch coaches take half court shots at half time. Last year, this well-received event helped to raise more than $800 and the coaches are hoping to top the $1,000 mark this year.
