Whitehall girls notch first win

W hitehall’s girls basketball team finally snagged its first victory of the season Wednesday, Jan,, 5, topped Hadley-Luzerne, 35-21, in a game played at SUNY-Adirondack.

Katie Paddock, who has been pacing the Railroaders all season, scored 14 points. Loren Martell and Paige Mason had seven apiece, and Brianna McDonald scored five, including a 3-pointer. The key for Whitehall was a 15-6 third-quarter edge.

The Railroaders are home to North Warren Friday, Jan. 7
