Overtime cruel to Horde boys

O vertime was not kind to the Golden Horde on Jan. 28 as Granville fell to the Hoosic Valley Indians, 49-46.

Valley’s Kevin White hit a jump shot with 12 seconds remaining to force the overtime period as the Indians were able to edge past Granville for the Wasaren League win. Jared Beattie, Brad Perry and Evan Young each dropped 10 points for Granville. Jamie Hicks narrowly missed adding another 10, hitting for nine points. Young had two and Hicks dropped in one three-pointer. The loss dropped Granville to 3-6 in the league and 5-8 overall.
