F rank E. Mahusky, born Jan. 9, 1917, in Newburgh, son of the late Michael and Sophia (Kazukaitis) Mahusky, died peacefully after a short illness on Feb. 15, 2011.

Frank worked many years for Telescope Casual Furniture, having moved from Newburgh to Granville in 1960. He was an Army veteran. He served as a charter member of the Granville Rescue Squad. He belonged to the Lions Club. The man had a passion for good food. He loved ice fishing with his dog, Sally Anne. His prized vegetable garden grew each year.
