Local cancellations

T he winter sports awards at Granville High School will not be held tonight as scheduled. No new date at this point, one is expected. The start of the spring sports season will also be delayed as there is no practice/games on a day school is cancelled.

For those keeping track, Granville is out of snow days.

The board of education meeting IS on, with a regular start time, 7 p.m. as of this posting. The Granville Village Board also meets tonight, as scheduled, in the village rooms.

Not so close to home; the community college committee of the county board has been cancelled, that meeting had been slated for 2 p.m. today.
