Christian duo plays locally Sunday

O ne of the top Christian County Duos in the country are coming to the local area for a pair of performances this weekend. Julian and Bonnie George will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Granville Baptist on Quaker Street and at 6 p.m. at Faith Chapel Assembly of God on Route 22 in Whitehall. Julian and Bonnie are Top 10 recording artists and have been nominated as the 2010 Duo of the Year y the U.S. Association of Gospel Entertainers and Musicians. Many of their songs have reached the top 5 on the Top 100 Christian Country Charts. Their musical style ranges from original Christian Country to Traditional Country Gospel. Julian plays the guitar, harmonica, and dobra while Bonnie play the keyboard and autoharp Both grew in Utica where they met in 1996. They currently reside near Nashville, TN. You can learn more about the duo at www.julianandbonnie.com. The concert is part of a series of Christian concerts sponsored by Christian radio station WNGN 91.9 FM.
