Club and a member of the the Pawlet Community Church. She also became a Hospice volunteer.

Sis was an avid reader. Every day, rain, shine, sleet or snow she would meet up with her good friend Dot Tifft for coffee and a walk through the town she loved. This was a ritual that spanned 40 years.

Sis was predeceased by her husband Arnold “Jim” Waite on July 5, 2011 as well as her brothers: Henry, Floyd, Gordon and Walter. Survivors are her sons: Ashley of Pawlet, Gary of Danby and Bruce of Dorset and a daugher Brenda Waite of Bennington.  Sis was blessed with nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
