Sheriffs to speak to seniors

S cott Stark from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit and his canine companion Nassie will be at the Washington County Meal Site at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4 at the American Legion on 148 Main Street in Whitehall. Seniors are invited to come by for lunch and a demonstration of Nassie’s crime fighting talents.
Anyone who would like to attend is encouraged to Helen LeClaire at 499-2482 for reservations.

The organization will also host Investigator Bruce Hamilton from the Sheriff’s Department at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Hamilton will speak about ways seniors can protect themselves from scams and abuse, among other topics.
