A local woman will serve the next several months in jail after she was found guilty of having sex with a boy under the legal age on consent.
Carrie Ferguson, 27, ofWhitehallwas sentenced Friday to 90 days in Washington County Jail for having sex with a boy under 17 years of age.
Fergusonwill also serve 10 years on probation following her release.
The state’s age of consent is 17.
