Daniel R. Pauquette, 62

D aniel R. Pauquette, age 62, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness.

Danny was born on Sept.29, 1949 in Granville, New York the son of Leo and Theresa (Zovistaski) Pauquette.

Danny was a 1970 graduate of Granville High School. He was also a graduate of the food service program at BOCES. He attended Community Workshop for a time. Danny was an avid fan of professional wrestling. While loving to watch it on television, it was even better when he was able to  attend some matches in Albany or at the Civic Center in Glens Falls. Much pleasure was had with a bottle of Coca-Cola in one hand and pro-wrestling on the television. That was a great day.

Dan is survived by his parents, Leo and Theresa and a brother Raymond Pauquette and his wife Kim of Granville. He was a loving uncle to his niece and nephew Jamie and Lou Pauquette. Danny is also survived  by several aunts and uncles, but also by an extremely large contingent of cousins which number at more than 60.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 23 Bulkley Ave., Granville, NY with the Rev. Richard Broderick presiding. Friends may call from  Noon until the time of the service.
