Man arrested, damages police car

A local man was arrested after he damaged a police car following his involvement in a domestic dispute.

Christopher M. Arquette, 32, ofWhitehall, was arrested at approximately7 p.m.on Saturday, Nov. 26, after he was accused of trespassing on another person’s property following a dispute over personal property.

After he was arrested and was awaiting transport, Arquette struck and kicked the rear passenger side door window, causing damage to the frame and rendering the window of the police cruiser insecure.

Arquette was charged with third degree criminal mischief, a felony, and trespassing.

He was arraigned inWhitehall Village Courtand sent to the Washington County Correctional Facility for lack of bail or bond.
