Granville pinned early and pinned late to take home a win in the annual daytime exhibition match against Hadley-Luzerne 52-29 in non-league competition. Hayden Miller (145), Paul Hanna (152) and Josh McKittrick (285) earned pins as Granville moved out to an early lead the team held onto for the win. Also pinning for Granville were Nathaniel Palmer (132) and Ryan Wilcox (138) capping the win and driving Granville to a 7-3 overall mark. Jesse Owens (113) needed triple overtime but pulled out a 2-1 thriller over the Eagle’s Joey Gilbert and Ken Harrison memorial runner up at 170 pounds, Brad Perry pulled out a close 6-5 decision for Granville.
