Bowlers snap losing streak

W hitehall’s bowling team snapped its three-match losing streak with a victory over Lake George on Jan. 10 at the Elks Lodge.

The Railroaders defeated the Warriors, 3-1, in a match that was closer than the final score revealed.

Richard Tisi rolled a 197 high game and 465 series for Whitehall and his brother James led the Railroaders with a 492 triple.

Shan Beebe rolled a 422 and James Jero recorded a 402 triple.

Lake George’s Shaun Nicholson led all bowlers with a 198 high game and 528 triple.

Whitehall held a fairly narrow edge in total pinfall 2,535-2,251.
