Raino selected to attend Empire Girls’ State

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jackie Raino has been selected to represent Whitehall High School at this year’s Empire Girls’ State seminar at SUNY Brockport.

Raino was selected by members of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 83 and guidance counselor Kristen Carey following a series of interviews at the high school.

Heather Donovan was selected as an alternate in the event Raino cannot attend.

Empire Girls’ State is an educational nonpartisan program developed to teach government and politics to New York’s youth. This year’s session will be held from June 24 to 30.

Raino is the daughter of Benjamin Raino and the late Penny DiResta. Donovan is the daughter of Frank and Callie Donovan.
