Delores Grace Fafard, 80

F ort Edward —   Delores Grace (Fisher) Fafard, 80,  died peacefully on Janurary 25, 2012.

Born in Whitehall on October 28, 1931, she was the daughter of Agatha (Cheney) and Francis Fisher.

She is survived by her children Frances Fafard, Bertrand, Christine Orellana, Mary LaRocque, Dolores Adamson, Lawrence Fafard, William Fafard Sr.; brothers William Fisher and Edgar Fisher. She was blessed with 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Delores is predeceased by both her parents and her sister Frances Fisher and brother Lawrence Fafard.

Delores  enjoyed reading,  writing poetry, music, singing, baseball especially her beloved Yankee’s, nature and spending as much time with her family as she could.  She was an avid supporter to The Nature Conservancy and St. Joseph’s Indian School.

Burial arrangements will be posted in the spring and any information can be obtained through the Jillson Funeral Home, Inc., 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, New York 12887.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Nature Conservancy or the St. Joseph’s Indian School.
