Sharon A. Brooks, 58

S haron A. Brooks went into the arms of the Lord on March 2, 2012, after suffering a long illness.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1953, the daughter of Johnny and Shirley Brooks.
She is survived by her siblings, Ann, Susan and Johnny Jr.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sharon also had a family of friends in which stayed by her side through her courageous battle which include her companion and best friend, John Delaney and “Gram” Wuanita Delaney.  They will miss the tag sales and auctions they enjoyed with Sharon.
Sharon attempted to open a shop on Route 22 in Granville, which led to a disappointment for her due to meddling neighbors.
She was an avid “fisherwoman.”  Sharon carried a pole and bait with her wherever she went looking for new fishing holes.
Sharon’s kind and caring ways will impact all that knew her forever.  Sharon will be missed.
She joins her dog “Spike” who passed away on Jan. 25, 2012.
At her request, there will be no calling hours or services.
