Odyssey of the Mind places second

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Whitehall Division II team placed second at the regional Odyssey of the Mind competition at Hudson Falls High School on Saturday, March 10. There were 70 teams competing this year. This is Whitehall’s second year in a row that they placed in the top three. Whitehall faced teams from Saratoga Catholic, Ballston Spa, Salem and Glens Falls. Saratoga Catholic and Ballston Spa tied for first. The team consists of (left to right) Emma Whalen, Victoria Davis, Rebeccah Jones, Abigail Dickinson, Matt Austin and Logan LaChapelle.

Police agencies in both New York and Vermont have recently ramped up efforts in the search for Jonathan Schaff, a Granville man who went missing in January 2014. Their investigation includes scuba diving in local quarries and questioning more than 30 witnesses. Police are looking into all tips in an effort to solve the case that started nearly 3 years ago.
