Zach Diekel, a senior at Whitehall High School, pictured with principal Kelly McHugh, was named Elks Student of the Month for April. Diekel will receive a $50 award from the Elks Club and will be eligible for the annual Elks Student of the Year award that is presented every spring.
The Elks Student of the Month is presented to a student who has displayed all the qualities representative of an exemplary student. The award is based on teacher nominations.
