Whitehall woman charged with selling cocaine

A local woman was arrested and charged with a pair of felonies for allegedly selling cocaine.

Madeline Rosario, 49, of Broadway was charged with criminal sale of a narcotic drug and criminal possession of narcotics with intent to sell. Both counts are considered to be Class B felonies.

She is accused of selling cocaine in the village of Whitehall earlier this year during a joint investigation by the Capital District DEA Task Force and Whitehall Police Department.

This is the second arrest in less than a month resulting from that investigation. On July 3, Sean Kramer, 31, was charged with identical counts.

Rosario was arraigned in Washington County Court and sent to the Washington County Correctional Facility for lack of $20,000 bail or $10,000 bond.

Members of the task force and Whitehall Sgt. Richard LaChapelle made the arrest.
