Youth held on child endangerment

A local youth was arrested last Tuesday after he allegedly threatened a 10-year-old boy at a residence on Broadway.

Steven A. Woodard, 17, of Whitehall was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.

Police said Woodard become upset with the child and threatened him with physical violence. He was issued a ticket to appear in court at a later date.

The case was handled by Patrolman Christopher Kyne.
