Men arrested for harassment

A pair of Hudson Falls men were arrested last Wednesday for reportedly sending harassing phone messages to a village resident.

Fred Schaff, 49, and Justin Zimmerle, 26, both of Hudson Place, Hudson Falls, were charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, a Class A misdemeanor.

Schaff and Zimmerle are accused of initiating a series of unwanted, harassing text messages to a village resident.

They were both issued tickets to appear in court at a later date.

The case was handled by Whitehall Sgt. Richard LaChapelle and patrolman Jamie Huntington.
