Whitehall’s golf team is on a winning streak.

The team which was 3-2 a week ago and coming off a loss to Hadley Luzerne, has won its last three matches to run its record to 6-2 and it appears the team is hitting its stride just in time for tomorrow’s Adirondack League Tournament at Skene Valley Country Club.

On Sept. 20, the team members traveled to Warrensburg where they defeated the Burghers 4-1 at Cronin’s Golf Resort.

Colby LaChapelle defeated his opponent two up and shot a match-low 39 to earn medalist honors. Al Aubin (4-2), Collen Flynn (two up) and Chris Talbert (4-3) also picked up wins for the Railroaders.

On Friday, senior Adam Bixby defeated his opponent 5-4 to break a tie and give Whitehall a 3.5 to 1.5 win over Lake George at Top of the World Golf Course. Talbert and Aubin also picked up wins for Whitehall and Flynn halved his match.

LaChapelle shot a match-low 48 and medalist honors despite falling to his opponent one up.

The winning ways continued on Monday as Whitehall hosted Fort Edward.

Aubin (3-1), Flynn (5-4), and Redmond (forfeit) all picked up wins for Whitehall and Pereau finished in a tie.

The Railroaders will look to win an Adirondack League championship at tomorrow’s league tournament, which is scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m.
