The comic antics of Laura Roth will return to Whitehall as the singer and entertainer from Glens Falls will stage her popular “Christmas Show” at the Whitehall Athletic Center next week.

A holiday and comedy and song fest, Roth will introduce a variety of famous personalities during the show, which is being held as a luncheon at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Described as “the one-woman variety show,” Roth has studied the work, mannerisms, and clothing styles of some of the most iconic female entertainers of the 20th and 21st centuries and has appeared in 125 costumes.

She has performed both on and off Broadway as well as in London and Paris and returns to Whitehall after a sell-out performance there this summer.

Wednesday’s “Christmas Show” will begin with a buffet table including salad, turkey, baked haddock, meat and vegetarian lasagna, as well as a number of sides. A cash bar will be available.

Admission costs $27.50 and includes tax and gratuity.

For reservations, call 874-0800.
