Teachers to square off for good cause

The faculty of the Fair Haven and Castleton Elementary schools will face off on the hard court against their counterparts from the Whitehall Elementary School in the name of good cause.

Teachers and administrators from the two Vermont schools will play against teachers and administrators from Whitehall in a Border War basketball game inside the gymnasium of Whitehall High School at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8.

Admission to the event is completely free, but organizers will be accepting donations that will benefit Whitehall Elementary School teacher Penny Whiting, whose son Danon, is fighting cancer.
