Millet fares well at track meet

W hitehall’s Ashley Millett and David Greenough had strong performances for the indoor track team at Saturday’s league at Hudson Valley Community College.

Millett finished sixth in the women’s shot put with a throw of 24-3 to earn the Railroaders their only point. She also cleared three and a half feet in the women’s high jump.

Greenough finished eighth in the boys’ high jump and 11th in the triple jump with a leap of nearly 33 feet.

The team returns to Hudson valley at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27
