Millett fares well for track team

W hitehall’s Ashley Millett and David Greenough had strong performances for the indoor track team at league meet held at Hudson Valley Community College on Dec. 15.

Millett finished sixth in the women’s shot put with a throw of 24-3 to earn the Railroaders their only point. She also cleared three-and-a-half feet in the women’s high jump.

Greenough finished eighth in the boys’ high jump and 11th in the triple jump with a leap of nearly 33 feet.

Andreas Meyer Giesow competed in three events for Whitehall and Meghan Redmond added several feet onto her shot put throw.

The team returns to Hudson valley at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27
