Teacup auction at Methodist Church Saturday

T he Whitehall United Methodist Church will host its teacup auction this Saturday.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 16, at the church. Doors are set to open at 11 a.m. and drawings will be held at 1 p.m.

A teacup auction is similar to a basket party except that individual items and not baskets are given away.

Besides a large variety of items, next Saturday’s fundraiser will include door prizes and a light lunch.

Admission, including a sheet of tickets and lunch, will cost $5. Additional tickets will be available for $2.

Anybody interested in donating items is encouraged to leave a message by calling 499-0851.
