Rollover accident in Granville

A Granville woman suffered minor injuries from a rollover car accident on Beecher Road Sunday afternoon.

Amber-Rae Morrow, 19, was driving east around 4 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle on a sand-covered curve, swerved into the opposite lane and then back across her own lane. She then skidded off the shoulder of the road, struck bushes and eventually came to rest on the lawn of the Cary residence.

Dennis Cary said a local fire department arrived on scene, and Morrow had to be cut from her seatbelt, from which she was hanging upside down. Morrow was treated by Granville EMS and released, and Warner’s towed her car.

Cary said this is not the first time someone has gone off the road and onto his lawn at that curve, and he thinks guardrails should be installed.accident 2
